Swallowing Feelings: Examining Disclosure in Contemporary Food-centric Fiction

Lottie holds a practice-based PhD from Loughborough University. Her research considers subversive femininity in twenty-first century fiction with a particular interest in the domestic, food writing, and disclosure.

Lottie’s research takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining linguistic data analysis, close textual analysis, and creative writing.

She is a practiced academic speaker, teacher of undergraduate and postgraduate, and is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
